This analysis, which isn't really dealt with in other books, is a rational and logical explanation of Charles and Ray's principles and their main concern about simply marketing a "good chair". And while I think out of the three books, I like Daniel and Hale the best as a couple, I liked the style of this book a bit more. While other authors overexert themselves in hopelessly convoluted terms and impenetrable analogies to try to explain the essence of Zen to their readers, Berger lays out its meaning in understandble terms by applying the principles of Zen to something that all of us can relate to--driving. Trace is the guy within this group that binds them all together. Black soldiers fought in World War I and civil rights went backwards; they fought in World War II and were treated with less dignity than German POWs.
