In this seminal volume, M. E. Bradford defines the Old Whig political tradition in American thought, showing that the inheritance of the prescriptive anti-federalists still lives. For Bradford, important elements in our heritage from the American Revolution have been systematically hidden from our view by anachronistic and partisan scholarship. He believes that other, more ideological components have been emphasized at the expense of the rest. Here he attempts to return us to our heritage.A Better Guide than Reason is a unique book due to its unusual focus on the Declaration of Independence. Bradford shows that neither equality of condition nor full equality of individual rights for every inhabitant is foreseen by that document, only constitutional equality. For this reason, many scholars have seen a contradiction between the Declaration of 1776 and the Constitution of 1787. M. E. Bradford, until his death in 1993, was professor of humanities at the University of Dallas in Texas. His work has appeared in many journals of opinion, including The Intercollegiate Review, Modern Age, and Imprimis.

I have even used this book in a preschool classroom to show likes and differences, an elementary class to discuss not giving up and even a toddler class for animals. (I now have three of those and want the book on Lord Hives). And, to my knowledge, DDT was never used as a defoliant (pp. Until my current project, I never had the need to create a standalone RCP application. And at 3:18 a.m. If you do know the phrases, you probably still won't laugh or even groan, just sigh with annoyance like I did.
I thought this one wasn't terrible:
"How do fleas travel from place to place?"
"By itch hiking."
But did you actually laugh? Me neither.. And I'm sure: this book is "The E4 Bible".
