Double stops provide the vehicle for excellent learning material for the young and advancing cellist in this newest Rick Mooney book. More than 60 familiar folk songs -- many in the Suzuki repertoire -- give the student help in such skills as hearing intonation, shaping the hand correctly, shifting, extensions, and preparing for future repertoire.
Even 20 years later, the book is fresh, not because of the state of the science (which may be outdated) but rather because of its description of the intellectual and practical aspects of paleontology.
Unlike a lot of other books in this genre, Horner does not focus undue attention on his own life (even though it is fascinating - he had dyslexia and became a paleontologist without a PhD). I have many of the plays in this edition, though truly the play is what makes me rate this so high. The characters are about as far away from the glorious hero model as you can get. After all, we are talking about your body and your routine, not about the behavior of laboratory rats!" Again Michal is helping us to shape our own plan and giving us tools to help us achieve the goals we set. This book was a rip-off. I read the whole thing so it gets 2 stars in my rating system, but I cannot recommend you spend your time or money on this book.
