Carlo Ginzburg has taught at the University of Bologna, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. The recipent of the 2010 International Balzan Prize, he is author of The Cheese and the Worms: The Cosmos of a Sixteenth-Century Miller and Clues, Myths, and the Historical Method, also published by Johns Hopkins.

It's not worth your time.. This is an excellent book for archeologists to identify fish bones.. The rhyming is spot on, perfectly complementing the whimsical nature of the story and the charming illustrations. I went to his 2 day couse in Dallas and that about sums it all up !! What you don't get elsewhere is how to resolve that Acid Base and statistic problems that are always on the boards that invariably get missed and those are throw away points that don't come back and could make the difference between passing and failing !!!!!!. The introduction of the brown tree snake is set in time - post World War II. In spite of this book's being the result of scholarly research, it is as readable as a novel.
Spradley and his associates observe what occurs in a bar near a college, describing the culture established in the bar. No matter what the quibbles I have with it, it's the best of the best. If you like metal or sociology (or both, as I do) then you’ll find this fascinating..
