Also, the fingerings are numbered above the notes whenever there is a new combination, throughout the book. I really liked this story. I originally bought the book as a child but never read it. It was as seamless as our author approaching this story in the way of the writings of say a Stephen King, a little scarier at a time. He then goes to Hawaii, arguably the invasive species capitol of the world, and finishes with a thorough look at the spread of marine invaders via ship ballast.

Burdick's is an even-handed treatment that considers many of the central questions in the burgeoning field of invasion biology. I find this edition in brief very useful for any new scholar of Lear, and I only wish I could now afford the new King Lear: New Critical Essays (Shakespeare Criticism), or even Critical Essays on Shakespeare's King Lear (Critical Essays on British Literature), and the rest..
